The Little Things is a gripping crime thriller but also a great character study reminiscent of Zodiac and Seven, it’s a slow-burn story. It has an all-star cast with Jared Leto delivering a diabolically creepy performance while Denzel Washington and Rami Malek are quite convincing as tormented cops. Its minimalist cinematography also adds a lot to the suspenseful atmosphere of the movie.
